이화여자대학교에서 『디지털 아트 미학 연구-퍼스의 기호학을 중심으로』으로 박사학위를 받았으며 2018년 현재 조선대학교 초빙교수로 재직 중이다. 이화여자대학교와 한국외국어대학교에서 강의하였으며 주요 저술로는 Practising Aesthetics(Institute of Philosophy of Jagiellonian University, 2015), Retracing the Past:Historical Continuity in Aesthetics from a Global Perspective(International Association for Aesthetics, 2017), 『도나 해러웨이』(커뮤니케이션북스, 2017) 등이 있다.
